Alton Town Center is partnering with Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches, Inc., for its first annual Thanksgiving Food Drive Tuesday through Nov. 14.
Visitors are asked to donate non-perishable food items to help feed families in need during the holiday season.
Items can be dropped off in donation boxes located throughout the center at tenant locations identified by a yard sign with ‘drop-off location.’
Drop-off locations include Brain Balance of Palm Beach Gardens, Deka Lash, LA Fitness, Massage Luxe, Raw Juce, Revive and Selfie Salonbar.
All donated items will be sorted into Thanksgiving meal kits and distributed to families in need.
Suggested food items include rice, pasta, canned and dry soup (cream of mushroom), canned vegetables, beans (dried or canned), mac and cheese, cake or brownie mix, dried mashed potato mix, stuffing, marshmallows and Publix gift cards.
“Families in our community are facing a particularly difficult time right now as we continue to navigate through the pandemic,” Adopt-A-Family of the Palm Beaches CEO Matt Constantine said. “Having the ability to provide homeless and at-risk families with a Thanksgiving meal is very important to us, and we hope it is special for the families we serve.”
