Art is at the Heart of Alton Town Center! This weekend, Feb 20th between 2:00pm – 6:00pm, the Palm Beach Gardens shopping, dining and lifestyle destination hosts its first Art Expo live on the Waterfall Plaza featuring local Alton artist, Ron Krivosheiw.

Ron will unveil exclusive art pieces at this event and share the stories that inspire his creativity.

The Party

Artist Statement: This painting depicts a festive and crowded scene where biomorphs seem to be caught up in a lively celebration. Inspired by Picasso, Miro and Kandinsky.

The Gymnast

Artist Statement:  Free from her shakes the gymnast has unlimited movement to express her inner self.

Artist Statement: I dreamed about the Trojan horse and awoke with larceny in my heart.

At the Races

Artist Statement:  Always striving to make images sharper, more color saturated, I recreated this piece by Roy Lichtenstein.

Nino

Artist Statement: I thought of no boundary when I created Nino, my beloved dog that passed away. I was imagining him going thru the black hole to the spirit in the sky and meeting other creatures that all harmonized with each other.

The Fish

Artist Statement: While exploring the ruins of Angkor Wat in Cambodia, I came upon an impression in the sandstone floor that appeared to be the skeleton of a very large fish. I let my mind wander to capture the spiritual breath of what this fish would look like it it were living today.

Gobble, Gobble

Artist Statement: The artist is expressing his support for small businesses and his fear that they will be Gobbled up.

My Butterfly Lady

Artist Statement: A combination of some algorithms, special effects and a few other techniques.

Medusa

Artist Statement: My version of Medusa has fiery red hair and a piercing green eye.  She won’t turn you to stone but don’t mess with her—she is powerful.
